Gin Wheel Braked

Gin Wheel Braked

This tool performs the same task as a normal gin wheel, i.e. raising and lowering a load by hand from scaffolding, with the added safety advantage of an inertia brake. This means that should the rope slip from the operators hands, or the user wants to take a rest, the brake will engage and the load will remain suspended.

When using a combination of equipment, i.e. beam, beam grab and chainblock, then the lowest SWL applies.
